SOC 2® Examination

Introduction

Imagine Communications has attained SOC 2® Type 2 compliance for Managed Services products post-completion of a SOC 2® examination, as part of our ongoing commitment to information security, operational integrity, and responsible data management.

What is SOC 2®?

System and Organization Controls (SOC) is a suite of services established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). A SOC 2® examination evaluates an organization’s controls relevant to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and/or privacy (AICPA, Trust Services Criteria).

As part of the SOC 2® examination, an independent service auditor assesses the design and operating effectiveness of controls over a defined reporting period, based on established Trust Services Criteria. Imagine Communications service commitments and system requirements were achieved with the applicable trust service criteria relevant to “security” and “availability”.

Completion of the SOC 2® examination reflects the structured processes and control frameworks we maintain to safeguard customer information and support reliable service delivery. These controls are subject to ongoing monitoring and periodic independent review

What this means to our customers

SOC 2® Type 2 compliance provides independent validation that defined controls are in place and operating as designed over the reporting period. For our customers, this supports greater transparency into our governance practices and reinforces our commitment to protecting sensitive information and maintaining reliable services.

SOC 2® is not a one-time achievement. It requires continued adherence to established controls and regular independent evaluation.
