MRTV Entertainment Channel launch marks first Imagine Communications integrated playout deployment in Myanmar

To speed deployment and reduce the need for complex maintenance, MRTV Entertainment Channel deployed Imagine Communications’ Versio, which combines best–in-class automation, branding, graphics, file server, storage and master control capabilities in an entirely integrated environment. Versio simplifies the creation and management of MRTV Entertainment Channel and enables the company to extend its brand and content with more freedom, visibility and control than ever before. The MRTV Entertainment Channel is broadcast on Digital Terrestrial on DVBT2 across the country and airs movies and educational programs. Since the 2015 General Elections, Myanmar has been carrying out media reforms, which include the transformation of state-owned broadcasting into public service broadcasting.
