Best-of-breed collaboration earns accolades for bringing new efficiencies to live production facilities and embrace of IP standards

The NewBay Media Best of Show Award was presented by TV Technology Europe on September 14 in Amsterdam.

The alliance, announced on September 10, provides media companies with a best-of-breed solution for live production, slow motion and instant replay operations. It combines industry-leading video production and content management solutions from EVS with Imagine Communications’ market-leading routing and processing platforms. The combined solution supports both SMPTE 2022 and JPEG2000 (J2K) standards for workflow solutions that bring increased agility and cost efficiencies to live production environments.

Technology from EVS includes the XT3 media production server, with the new EVS XiP gateway option to enable uncompressed SMPTE 2022 IP media flows to IP production fabrics.
