Versio™ allows broadcaster to move from two channels to eight while saving rack space, with zero downtime
Angel TV, a Christian broadcast service based in Chennai, India, has implemented a channel playout solution from Imagine Communications, a market share leader of content management and network infrastructure solutions serving the global broadcast, communication service provider, government and enterprise markets. The solution allows Angel TV to quadruple its channel offerings with half the rack space.

Angel TV was an existing user of Imagine Communications playout technology, including ADC automation and Nexio® servers, for its two-channel service. It wanted to better serve viewers in Europe, Russia, the Middle East and Singapore using eight dedicated channels, but space constraints in its playout centre made this impossible with traditional technology. Versio has allowed Angel TV to grow from delivering two channels to eight, while halving the required space for equipment. To enable processing and compression for distribution of their content, the various channel outputs are encoded and delivered using the Selenio™ media convergence platform.
