Scalable solutions for every size facility:
Leverage existing investment
Protect SDI investment while transitioning to IP without parallel infrastructure.
Reduce channel costs
Lower the cost of running and expanding channels through software-based operations.
Lower operational complexity
Monitor and control distributed systems through a single operational view.
Increase asset utilization
Deliver SDR and HDR services within the same production and playout workflows.
Protect continuity
Use cloud where it makes sense for backup, disaster recovery, and burst capacity.

NABA: How the Dynamic Media Facility Initiative Will Re-Shape Television Production and Delivery
10:00 AM @ LVCC N261
Broadcast Engineering and IT (BEIT) Conference
SMPTE ST 2110 enables television production and delivery facilities to scale up and out in a multi-vendor interoperable manner that is working around the world today. But as high-performance computing infrastructure continues to deliver more capability per dollar every year, most media processing functionality has moved into pure software workflows. While ST2110 can (and is) used to connect these software appliances every day, a new initiative – the DMF – re-imagines the facility as a pure software endeavor, planning and deploying applications into a scalable computing cluster (on-prem or in cloud) and facilitating communication and control in a multi-vendor interoperable manner. This session explains the DMF concepts and layers, including the underlying Media Exchange Layer (MXL) which connects together the applications within the cluster.

Driving the Future – IP Workflows in Mobile Production
10:30 @ LVCC W3643: Sports Theatre
NAB Sports Summit
As mobile production continues its transition from SDI to IP, broadcasters and production providers are navigating new architectures, workflows, and operational realities inside the truck and across remote production environments. This panel brings together industry leaders who are actively deploying and supporting IP-based mobile production systems to share practical lessons learned from real-world implementations – while exploring how the shift to IP is shaping the future of live production on the road.

The Various Flavors of HDR
3 PM @ LVCC N250
SBE Ennes Workshop – Emerging Technology
HDR (High Dynamic Range) video offers a more realistic, vibrant picture with brighter highlights, deeper shadows, and a wider spectrum of colors than standard video (SDR), achieved through increased luminance and color depth (like 10-bit) for richer detail in both bright and dark scenes, supported by formats like HDR10, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+, playable on compatible HDR TVs and devices.
