Cloud-based Media Platforms from Imagine Communications combined with HP Helion Managed Virtual Private Cloud, Servers and Storage Solutions Enable Turnkey Solution for Content Providers
Imagine Communications, a global leader in video infrastructure, advertising systems and workflow management solutions serving media networks, broadcast stations, digital media, communication service provider and enterprise markets, today announced a relationship with HP to help media and entertainment companies implement private, virtual video delivery infrastructures in the cloud.
The relationship includes a proof of concept that leverages Imagine Communications’ growing portfolio of cloud-ready, software-based solutions and HP’s global scale and power in hardware, storage and managed private cloud solutions.
The proof of concept will utilize Imagine Communications’ VersioCloud™, an advanced, fully IP-enabled, integrated channel playout platform that includes automation, branding, graphics, file server and automated playout capabilities. With Versio offered on the HP Helion Managed Virtual Private Cloud, HP’s open cloud solution hosted in secure HP data centers, media companies can easily create new channels and make their content available for linear distribution and multiscreen environments.
